MLK celebration Saturday in Lyons

'Together We Stand' will celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Saturday, Feb. 3. (The ceremonies had been postponed due to inclement weather.)

Come celebrate with friends and neighbors to honor the life and work of a great American leader.

Meet at Lyons Middle/High School, 9 Clyde Road, Lyons.

Community March is from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with a brunch to follow, open to the community, from 10:30 to 11:30. (March begins and ends at the school).

Presentations, dance and music from 11:30 to 1:15 in the auditorium. The special speaker will be Assembly Member Bob Oaks.
