Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! There were fireworks everywhere. I hope you were able to attend some of the fun events that were going on in the area. But just because the 4th is over doesn't mean the fun has to stop. Here are some more fun things to do: July 20: Pet Parade and Ice Cream Social Bring a lawn chair and enjoy a summer evening with the Ice Cream Social hosted by the Sodus Central School, and the free street dance compliments of Culligan Water. Free and open to all ages. At the Apple Shed you can take your best friend out with you every Sunday in July. Speaking of July 8th: Happy birthday to Jimmy Malone. A lot to keep the young and the older youngsters busy. No one can say they are 'bored.' I joined the Get A Clue adult program with my daughter tonight and we can't wait to start reading and filling in our reading sheets. As adults, sometimes we feel guilty if we sit down to read a book. The book club gives you permission to read. In fact, you are supposed to and keep track of the many books you have read through the weeks. Help the kids with their reading sheets by having storytimes and marking their books. They enjoy getting the prizes and awards. Have a great week. Have fun with your families and enjoy the sunsets, sunrises, smelling the flowers and listening to the birds. Copyright
