New hours at Newark Mueum

Beginning Wednesday, July 11, the Newark-Arcadia Historical Museum's summer hours begin. The museum will be open Wednesday evenings, 7 - 9, and Saturdays, 1 - 3 p.m. through Sept. Admission is free (donations accepted).

On the day of the Rose Parade, Sat. July 21, the museum will be open from 12 - 3 p.m. There is a display of early Jackson & Perkins rose charts, catalogs, post cards, books, and photographs.

Reunion tours are always welcome. Please call for an appointment or visit during regular hours. The new 2007-8 exhibit, Gimme That Ol' Tyme Religion: Early Newark Churches, and The Hydesville Spiritualist Movement, along with Newark Plaza and WACK Radio, recently opened on June 8.
