Humane Society Spay/Neuter program Did you know that the Humane Society of Wayne County can help with the spaying and neutering of your pet? In our on-going effort to help curb pet over-population and encourage proper pet care, the Humane Society has a spay and neuter program. The program is available to Wayne County residents who, BECAUSE OF FINANCIAL LIMITATIONS, are unable to have their pets spayed or neutered. This program is available due to the generosity of area veterinarians and special friends of the shelter who understand and recognize the need to limit the abundance of unwanted pets. Local veterinarians contribute 1/3rd of the cost, the Humane Society pays 1/3rd and you, the pet owner, pays 1/3rd of the cost of a routine spay or neuter. This program covers only spay/neuter costs, not exams, vaccinations or other medical costs. If you, or someone you know is on low or limited income, please contact the Humane Society of Wayne County at 315.946.3389 for more information. Copyright
