Silver & Gold ceremony in Clyde The Clyde-Savannah Girl Scout Service Unit held their annual Silver and Gold Ceremony at St. John's School Hall in Clyde in June. This ceremony and Court of Awards is held to honor girls and adults involved in Girl Scouting each year. Troop #895, led by Terri Williams, bridged from Daisy to Brownie Girl Scouts. As the youngest level in Girl Scouts, the Daisies worked hard to earn their Daisy petals and learn all about Girl Scouts. Kristen DeLisio, Jessica Goble, Natalie Maddox, Maisie Powers, and Megan Rice carried their new friend with them over the bridge as they became Brownies. Troop #198, guided by Tracey DeSantis, Krista Stiles, and Dawn Weaver, flew up from Brownies to Junior Girl Scouts. As the girl crossed the bridge to Junior Scouts they were greeted with a Girl Scout handshake and a green Junior vest. Outstanding Leader of the Year is Debra Samasuck.
