Lyons pantry needs donations

The Lyons Food Pantry is located the First Presbyterian Church of Lyons, 11 Queen Street (at the corner of Broad Street) The pantry is open Monday through Friday from 11 to 1.

No appointment is needed for the pantry. The pantry is available to Lyons residents. Please bring proof of address such as a drivers license, a utility bill or landlord statement. After two visits to the Lyons Food Pantry, recipients will need to contact the intake worker at Department of Social Services (DSS) on Water Street in Lyons to obtain a referral for additional food.

People wishing to make a donation to the Food Pantry may send checks to the Lyons Food Pantry at the above address.

Donations of canned goods, boxed foods such as cereal, macaroni and cheese, pastas and rice are greatly appreciated. The pantry needs personal hygiene products. For info, call Armae Bostic at 946.4723.
