Kami Steurrys Supper to benefit little Kami Steurrys

Tickets are now on sale for a Spaghetti Supper benefiting the family of Kami Steurrys. Two-year-old Kami was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a very aggressive form of children's cancer.

The benefit supper is Wednesday, June 20 from 4:30 to 7 at the United Church of Marion. Tickets are $6 ($4 for children 12 and younger) and can be purchased from Barb Schoonerman 926.5343, family members, or at either school office.

A raffle will be held during the supper. Anyone wishing to donate items for the raffle should contact Debbie DeLyser 926.4324 or Jennifer Taylor 926.4336.

Rhabdomyosarcoma accounts for 5-8% of all childhood cancers and is the most common of the soft tissue sarcomas in children. Children under the age of 10 account for 70% of the cases diagnosed, with the peak incidence in ages one to five.

All proceeds will be used to pay Kami's medical expenses.
