Red Cross celebration dinner next week

On June 15, the Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross will be celebrating its 90th year of chartered service to the people of Wayne County.

The Membership Meeting and Volunteer Awards Ceremony will take place at the Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club. Social hour will begin at 5 and dinner will start at 6. Cost is $10 per person and is open to the public.

The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross was established on May 24, 1917. The Chapter is located in Newark.

American Red Cross, is a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, that will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
