Newark festivals end on dry note
 Furious winds and pounding rain flew quickly into Newark Friday night, hurling vendor tents into the air and leaving many without power throughout the village.
By Saturday, the downtown Newark Family Festival (formerly known as Newarkfest) and St. Michael's Family Festival had nothing but beautiful weather. Sunday was just as glorious.
