Lyons Heritage Society to meet

The Lyons Heritage Society will meet on Monday, June 18 at 7 p.m. in the Hotchkiss Essential Oil Company building on Water Street, Lyons.

Speaker for the evening will be Sergeant Steve Sklenar of the Sheriff's Department. Sklenar specializes in the history of local law enforcement. His presentation will include a discussion of his research of early Wayne County Sheriffs with emphasis on the discoveries and the problems faced searching the archives.

A business meeting will follow Sklenar's talk. Refreshments will be served. For information, call 946.4492.
