Volunteers needed for Lyons event The Lyons Civic Club, Inc. is looking for volunteers to guide tours, park cars or to perform in the Sept. 14 production of Vintage Voices, at the Lyons Rural Cemetery. Actors are asked to dress in period clothing, and memorize, read or adlib their part. On the evening of the performance, as they stand in the historic cemetery, 12 costumed actors will describe the lives of some of the notables and notorious who once lived in Lyons. Tour guides will be dressed in period clothing and will guide the audience from gravesite to gravesite during one of four 45-minute tours. Valet parking attendants will park the attendees cars and volunteers are needed to sell tickets and greet guests.
