The Duck Race will be held Saturday July 21, immediately after the Newark Firemen's Rose Parade which starts at 1 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased from any Newark Volunteer Firefighter, Reliant Federal Credit Union (formerly WCTA), Newark American Legion, the Farmer's Market on Thursday afternoons, Studio of Hair Design, Graham's LP Gas, Joey's Northside Grocery, Union St. Automotive, Newark Electric Corp., Empire Tree Surgeons, Plassche Lumber Co., Colacino Electric Supply, Corner Tavern, Parker's Grille & Tap House and others. The tickets can be purchased for a $5 donation, or (6) tickets for $25.

Bands will play at the T. Spencer Knight Canal Park after the parade; food and beverages will be available with a gigantic fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.
