Newark Elks Lodge 'Hoop Shoot'

The Elks Lodge 1249 'Hoop Shoot' was coordinated by Mike Muscolino. The foul-shooting contest is held at the Alex Eligh Community Center in Newark. The contest has three age divisions of both boys and girls.

Each contestant shoots 25 foul shots. A winner is declared in each age division.

The 'Hoop Shoot' had 67 girls and 129 boys participate. The Elks Lodge donated trophies to each age group winner.

• ages 12/13 - Nathan Otero and Jennifer DiSanto
