African Drumming, Dance at Newark Library

Newark Public Library will be offering an African Drumming and Dance program by Bush Mango Drum and Dance Ensemble at 7 p.m. on March 3.

Bush Mango, an award winning Ensemble, will present a 45-minute program on the history and culture of African drumming and dance followed by a 45-minute performance. There will be plenty of hands-on opportunities for audience members to experience drum playing. African themed refreshments will be available. This is a free program and open to adults and children age 13 and over.

Space is limited and registration is required. The Library is located at 121 High Street. To register, call 331.4370.
