NHS will stage 'Children of Eden'

The musical is loosely based on the Book of Genesis, with Act I telling the story of Adam and Eve and Cain and Abel, and Act II adapting the story of Noah and the Flood.

First produced in 1991, this musical has enjoyed a wide popularity despite the fact that it never played on Broadway. Stephen Schwartz (creator of last year's musical, Pippin) wrote the richly beautiful and complex music and lyrics.

Steve Duprey is the director of this production, choreographer is Emily Howard, Jean Bendix is musical director and Dave Schwind leads the orchestra.
