Cross Roads to re-open in Lock Berlin

Country Cross Roads, Rt. 31 in Lock Berlin, will be re-opening on Friday, March 16.

Originally opened in November 2004 as a multi-vender craft shop, Country Cross Roads has undergone many changes since then.

A fire in December resulted in temporarily closing the store for repairs.

Now that repairs are finished, the store is ready to be re-opened, but with a whole new look.

There is more furniture that is hand-etched, and one-of-a-kind designs, vintage and antique wicker and rattan, rockers, stands, tables, assorted chairs, wall shelves, cupboards, storage chests, lamps and more.

Decorations include wreaths, swags, pictures, mirrors, sconces, folk art; deck decor in patio sets, wicker furniture, statuary, bird baths and feeders, wind chimes and more. 'The Wild Kingdom' room features wolf and bear collectibles.

Open Friday and Saturday, 9 to 4; Saturdays during the summer the hours are 9 to 7.

Renovations to the outside of the store are planned for spring with a new paint job and picket fences.
