Phone-a-thon in Marion

The Phone-a-thon is taking place March 13-15 and 19-21. Seniors will be working out of the Marion Elementary and High School Offices, making phone calls to townspeople between 6-8:30 each evening.

This is a national program that provides financial support in the form of scholarships to seniors. Seniors who help with the phone-a-thon have to fill out an application.

Seniors raise around $7500 thanks to the generosity of Marion's community members and local businesses. Donations are all tax deductible and 100% of all money raised is used for Marion graduates. The money is to further their education either in a trade school, two- or four-year college.
