Sodus Point Food Pantry The Sodus Point United Methodist Church has a food pantry available to needy people in the Sodus and Sodus Point area. We have many people and organizations that support our efforts. We could not serve people in our area, without the donations and work of the Sodus Boy and Girl Scouts in their food drives. The scouts picked up food at homes in Sodus and Sodus Point, despite some very rainy weather last fall. Many local churches support our efforts. We would like to thank the Council of Churches, the Sodus Presbyterian Church, The Sodus United Third Methodist Church, the Sodus Episcopal Church, and Church of Epiphany, with their 'Souper' Bowl Sunday. Many organizations support our pantry with food and monetary donations. Thanks to the Neighborhood Association, The Sodus Point Garden Club, and Curves of Sodus. The Steger Haus Restaurant willingly donates to our Christmas food baskets every year. Tops Market in Ontario and Seneca Foods make donations to our food pantry on a regular basis. Children at the Sodus Central School have had food collections to donate to our pantry. The members of our own Sodus Point United Methodist Church, graciously donate, whenever there are items lacking in the pantry. We appreciate all of your efforts.
