At Lyons UMC tonight In Celebration of Women's History Month, Rev. Cassandra L. Salter-Smith, of Lyons United Methodist Church, invites everyone to see, One Night With The King. This is about the young Jewish girl, Hadassah, who goes on to become the Biblical Esther, the Queen of Persia. Program is today (Saturday, March 24), 6 p.m. at Lyons United Methodist Church, 93 William Street, followed by refreshments. An Easter Festival will be held March 31 from 9 to noon for children pre-k through the 6th grade. There will be crafts, face painting, coloring and other things. Everyone is invited. The Maundy Thursday Service will be April 5 at 6 p.m. We will observe this Upper Room Meal and Holy Communion by reflecting on the events of that very important day in Jesus' life.
