Good Friday walks in Lyons and Newark

Good Friday is April 6.

The Lyons Inter-Church Council is sponsoring the Good Friday Walk starting at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Phelps St., Lyons at noon.

After a short service there we will walk from church to church with a short service at each church. Those not able to walk are invited to drive.

In Newark, the walk begins at noon and progresses in half-hour increments from church to church.

• 2:30 Emmanuel United Methodist, Rev. Steve Matteson.
