Dave Crane of North Main St. tells me he has bluebirds in one of his bird houses!

October 26, 1917 - letter postage has been increased to three cents beginning November 2.

May 11 - family roller-skating sponsored by Marion PTA, 7-8:30 p.m. in the School gym. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Have you stopped to realize that you've never heard of a fat woman that was kidnapped?

Happy Mother's Day! Do you know that familiar, earthy smell after a spring rain comes from the soil-dwelling streptomyces bacteria and other organic matter, which are kicked into the air by falling raindrops.

Friends of Eunice Ellsworth treated her to a 'coffee time' at the Drumlin Estates and spent the day with her; she now lives in Watervliet.

Mother ... a four-year-old says, My Mother can do anything.
at age seven: My Mom knows a lot, a whole lot.
age 8 - My Mom doesn't quite know everything.
12 - Oh well, naturally Mom doesn't know everything.
14 - Mother? Hopelessly old-fashioned.
21 - Oh that woman is out of date. What did you expect?
25 - She knows a little bit about, it, but not much.
30 - Must find out what Mom thinks about it.
age 35 - A little patience, let's get Mom's meaning first.
50 - What would Mom have thought about it?
60 - My Mom knew literally everything.
65 - I wish I could talk it over with Mom once more.
