Sunday events in Pultneyville

At 2 p.m. May 20, Traders of Pultneyville at 4139 Mill Street next to Salmon Creek in the village will host as part of their grand opening, reading by local author Susan Peterson Gateley on Pultneyville harbor, a gateway to wider waters.

For over 200 years, voyages have begun and concluded at this small lake port. Personal quests flights to freedom, economic gain, or simply a need for a few hours of pleasure and peace on the lake have motivated these departures and arrivals.

Join Peterson Gateley, author of a half dozen books on Lake Ontario, for some stories of voyages begun and ended at Pultneyville harbor and check out the goods and treasures by local artists and artisans at Trader's Grand Opening weekend.

Contact Debbi Emory Brundage at 589.8124 or 802.760.8233 for more information on Traders Of Pultneyville or visit Susan Peterson Gateley's website www.silverwaters.com for information on her Lake Ontario literature and sailing.

Find Traders Of Pultneyville by taking Rt. 104 to Williamson and going north to the lake and Pultneyville on Route 21 (Lake Avenue) or by taking Lake Road.
