Lifeguarding class in Newark
The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross will be offering a Lifeguarding Course at the Newark High School Pool and The American Red Cross Chapter House in Newark.
The course will be held June 11, 3:30 to 5 at Newark High School; 6-10 p.m. at Red Cross Office;
June 12, 13, 14 from 3:30 to 7 at Newark High School;
June 15, 3:30 to 9 at Newark High School;
June 16 from 9 to 4 at Red Cross Office, 400 S. Main St.
Students MUST attend all classes to receive certification.
The cost of the course is $135. Cost includes all materials including manual and pocket resuscitation mask.
Students must be 15 by the completion of the course.
Students who complete the course will receive authorization in lifeguarding and CPR For the Professional Rescuer.
