Food $en$e orders due soon Food Sense offers the opportunity to stretch your food budget by purchasing quality food at a discount. No donated food is used in this program. It's a buying club, sponsored by Newark Rotary; there is no income requirement. Order dates for the June delivery (order before June 11) are Monday-Friday from 10 to 4 at Excel Staffing, 165 East Union Street, Newark, on the 3rd floor. Cash, money orders, food stamps and vouchers are accepted. Food may be picked up at June 21 at the Cornell Cooperative Extension, 3 to 5:30 p.m. For info, to Melissa Carman, 165 Fast Union Street, Newark. Phone 331.5435, fax 331.3528. The cost is $15.50 and this includes 10-14 food items including fresh fruits & vegetables, meats and grocery staples. There are four specials available for an additional cost.
