Happenings Jenna Adriaansen, daughter of Bob and Phyllis has recently returned from a short stay in Maryland where she had accepted a position as a Nanny. Prior to moving to Maryland she had been a Nanny for a family in Victor, who have recently asked her to return to them. She is happy to be back with that family and her own family and friends. On October 17 and 18, Rog and Gen Adriaansen spent time in York, Penna, where they attended the Bi-annual Train Collector's Association Train Show and Sale. REMEMBER - Saturday, November 10 - it's the day that the Marion Boy Scouts will be collecting food for the Marion Food Pantry. Put your contributions in a bag and hang it on the front door knob or railing and they will be around to collect them. Adult volunteers are needed to help to pack the boxes of food stuffs. Call John Ballesty, Sr. at 926.1111 and offer your services. SUNDAY - NOVEMBER 11 - Marion Fire Department 'All You Can Eat' Breakfast at the Marion Fire Hall. November 7, 2007- Marion PTA meeting - 7 p.m. at the Marion Elementary School Auditorium. The Marion Food Pantry is in need of a few volunteers for Thursday evenings. Sharon Cornwell, Laura Tierson and Karen Smith, spent a day last week with their friend, Diane Van Lare in Fort Johnson, New York. They visited some antique shops and enjoyed a luncheon together.
The French and Spanish Club is holding their Spaghetti Dinner on November 7 at the Marion High School. Cost is $5.00. Menu includes spaghetti, bread, salad, apple sauce, dessert and drink.
