Newark swimmer returns to Bentley
and holds five records

Arden Brust of Newark is co-captain of the 2007-08 Bentley College women's swimming and diving teams, Brust enters her senior season as the school record holder in five individual events, including all three backstroke events, and three relays.

Her record times are :28.55 in the 50 back, 1:00.69 in the 100, 2:09.00 in the 200, 1:59.27 in the 200 free and 2:14.73 in the 200 individual medley.

At the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association championships, Brust won gold in the 200 yard back, 200 individual medley, 200 free and two relays.

On Nov. 3, she was a triple winner in a meet with Le Moyne College. She posted victories in the 1000 yard freestyle (11:15.18), the 100 backstroke (1:05.04) and the 200 back (2:19.09). Brust helped the Falcons to a second in the 200 medley relay.
