Events in Lyons, Monday and Tuesday The Lyons Heritage Society will meet today, November 19 at 7 p.m. at the Hotchkiss Building on Water Street in Lyons. The program will be a film entitled 'Spiritualism: The Fox Sisters.' This was filmed locally in 2005. Produced by Reel Time Images, Inc. of Toronto, the film was aired in 2006 as part of the 'Enigma' series on Canadian Television. Pat Gorthy of Lyons, Karen Vanderbrook and Rata Weiler of Newark portrayed the Fox Sisters. A business meeting will follow the program. The public is invited and refreshments will be served. The Community Thanksgiving Dinner is Tuesday, November 20, at the Grace Episcopal Church Parish house, 7 Phelps Street. Take-out dinners prepared 2-4 p.m., and a sit-down meal commences at 5.
