Williamson pastor speaks at 'Divided We Fail' Pastor Steve Thomas of Community of Faith Church in Williamson was in Albany at the New York state 'Divided We Fail' kickoff. 'Divided We Fail' is a consortium effort consisting of AARP, The Business Roundtable and the SEIU union for health care reform in the U.S. Pastor Thomas was asked to be one of the speakers. His concern for the welfare of those who have inadequate health care initiated AARP to invite him to the event. At the event, Pastor Thomas and his wife heard many stories from young and old about the horrors of not having proper health insurance. Without proper insurance, medical costs can mount quickly destroying any financial stability the person or family might have. 'Divided We Fail' is a non-partisan effort to influence politicians to act together to bring health care to everyone, not just a few.
