Sodus Chamber of Commerce event tonight

The Sodus Beautification Committee Christmas Tree lighting event is today in the Village Park. Santa will arrive by sleigh Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. There will be hot chocolate and gifts for the kids along with music for all.

The Chamber Christmas Party will be at Captain Jack's Tavern, (Greig St., Sodus Point) on December 6 at 6 p.m. for cash bar, and 7 p.m. for dinner. Appetizers of shrimp, artichoke dip, and fresh veggies will start the evening and then will be followed by a buffet of BBQ ribs, ham, marinated chicken, tossed salad, potatoes, steamed vegetables, coffee, tea, and assorted desserts. Its only $23.00 per person, and is open to the public and all local organizations. Get tickets before December 1. Tickets are available at Curves, WCTA, Fox Law Office, Town Hall, or Mary Jane Mumby (483.4067). Gather your group and share holiday warmth and cheer with the community.

The Wallington Fire Department will have Fireworks on Sunday, Dec. 16; the fire hall will be open at 5 p.m. and fireworks start at 6.
