Book Fair and breakfast in Marion Marion Public Library is bustling with holiday activity, hosting a Scholastic Book Fair Blizzard and Breakfast with Santa. The Book Fair will feature all new books and gift items from Scholastic. The Fair will be open from 2 to 6 p.m. on November 30, and 8 to 2 on Saturday, December 1. Book Fair Blizzard will offer award winning books for all ages, popular series and a selection of great stocking stuffers. We will be equipped with a credit card machine to make purchases even easier. Santa will return to the Library Saturday to visit with friends and enjoy a special breakfast. Join Santa and the German Club students (Dec. 1) for eggs, pancakes, sausage and a beverage. Seatings will be at 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30. Breakfast costs $3 for children under six, $5 for all others. Tickets are available from German Club students, Shelly Thompson at the High School, Phyllis Stock at the Elementary School and Kathy Metcalfe at the Marion Library.
