Dept. of Labor now open on Nye Road

The State Department of Labor and the Wayne County Board of Supervisors announced that the Department of Labors Division of Employment Services office has moved from 105 North Main St. in Newark to the Finger Lakes Works Career Center.

The new location at 1519 Nye Road (Lyons) will be fully operating today. The phone number is 946.7270.

Supervisors announced that the purpose of the move is to streamline services by consolidating into one location. This allows staff to better serve the public by offering a wider variety of services in a One-Stop Career Center. Job seekers have access to a state-of-the-art resource room, as well as receive assistance with resume writing, career counseling and job searches.
