Children collect items for troops in Iraq

Children at Candy Apple Children's Center in Newark spent November collecting items to be sent to military troops in Iraq.

They were taking part in the 'Cookies for the Troops' initiative. The children enjoyed keeping track of everything that was donated by Candy Apple families and staff. The cookies were delivered to the Newark VFW.

There are openings at Candy Apple for children in kindergarten to grade 5. Please call 331.6966 for information.
