Photo contest in Newark/Arcadia

The Annual Newark-Arcadia Historical Society's Photo Contest will be held on Saturday, October 13.

The theme will again be A Day in the Life of Newark & Arcadia. All photos must be taken on this day only, within the village of Newark or township of Arcadia.

No pre-registration will be required.

Photos must be submitted by Nov. 3 at 3 p.m. at the Newark-Arcadia Museum in 8x10 size (digital or film format, black & white or color). The museum is located at 120 High St., Newark.

Categories include Historical (over 50 years old), Scenic/Landscapes, People/Animals, Experimental/Artistic/Misc. Professional photographers may enter the contest on a non-competitive basis.

All photos will become the property of the Newark-Arcadia Historical Society.

There will be a special display of all photos following the completion of the contest and judging. Grand Prize this year will be a one night stay at the Newark Quality Inn.
