Lyons Rotary train/wine event

A wine and cheese excursion sponsored by Lyons Rotary in conjunction with Finger Lakes Railway is on Sunday September 9. Boarding at 1:45 p.m. for a 3-hour train ride from Geneva to Shortsville.

Sample local wines and McCadam cheese and crackers. Other snack items and a souvenir wine glass are included. Cost is $30 per person.

Tickets are available at: Old Lyons Hardware, William St., Lyons, from all Rotarians, or through Finger Lakes Railway at 315.781.1234 ext. 301.

Proceeds from this event go toward Camp Onsewaya, Rotary's camp for disabled children, scholarships given to Lyons Central School seniors and other worthy causes.
