Cracker Box Palace Music Fest

Come on down and jam with the animals this Sunday!

Mark your calendars for September 16, pack up your lawn chairs and blankets and get ready to kick back for an afternoon of music and camaraderie for a great cause at the Cracker Box Palace Music Fest. The Fest runs from noon until 7 and will offer something for everyone's musical tastes, with a line-up of blues, reggae, rock, acoustic guitar, jazz, and more.

The Palace is a not for profit, no-kill farm animal haven located at historic Alasa Farms in Alton. It is home to 150+ animals who have been rescued from lives abuse or neglect, or taken in from people who, through their life circumstances, have become unable to care for them. Animals are provided veterinary care, put on a proper diet, loved and cared for, and, when their bodies and souls are healed, they're available for adoption into appropriate homes. The farm is staffed by volunteers, and funding comes through memberships, donations and grants.

Musicians donating their time and talent to raise funds to support the farm:

Friends Unplugged, P.J. Elliott, Madison Set, Solo Acoustic by Mimi, Rhythm Dogs, Deep Blue, Bittersweet Thing, Mac 'n Keys and the Mix.

Food and beverages will be available; picnics are welcome. Advance sale tickets are $10; $12 admission at the gate. Your donation is tax-deductible; checks should be payable to Cracker Box Palace. Mail your advance ticket order to Cracker Box Palace, P.O. Box 174, Alton, NY 14413.
