Apple Shed Pie Weekend winners told

The Apple Shed celebrated Pie Weekend September 22 and 23.

The winning pie for the Fruit Pie Baking Contest was an Apple Pie baked by Lucile Decker of Marion. Lucile's amazing crust was definitely her secret weapon.

Second place went to Margaret Cepulo (Newark) with Country Fruit Streusel Pie and a close third place went to Marion Welcher (Newark) with a Fresh Peach Pie.

The winner of the Apple Pie Eating Contest was Gert Yancey (Newark). She finished an entire apple pie with a record-breaking time of four minutes and 45 seconds! Dylan Yatteau (Newark) won the Chocolate Pudding Pie Eating Contest. What made it so tricky for Dylan to win? The kids were not allowed to use their hands!
