John Cole Blues Band benefit in Newark

The John Cole Blues Band will be playing Saturday, September 29, from noon to 2 at the Quality Inn in Newark. The John Cole Blues Band is one of the Rochester area's best loved and well-known blues band in the area. Band leader Cole combines a uniquely soulful voice delivery with a powerful and imaginative guitar style to make every song a memorable experience.

The band is doing this concert as a benefit for Literacy Volunteers, which assists adults to better their reading skills. The concert is $15 for presale tickets; price includes a light lunch. Tickets will be sold at the door for $18. All proceeds will go to Literacy Volunteers.
