Conference Oct. 2 at Lyons Party House

A conference entitled Trauma's Impact: The Misalignment of Mind, Body and Spirit will be held Tuesday, October 2, for those in the healing professions and those who are impacted by trauma. Medical providers, first responders, teachers, counselors and those in the religious field are encouraged to attend. The program will run from 3:30 to 8 p.m. at Studebaker's Restaurant and Party House in Lyons.

The presenter will be Trina Laughlin LCSW-R, a national speaker on trauma and the effects of domestic violence on children. Laughlin is an author and director of Trina Laughlin and Associates, a trauma practice group based in Rochester for adults and children.

Cost is $30 and includes conference materials and dinner. The conference is sponsored by Lifetime Care Hospice of Wayne and Seneca Counties. For further information or to obtain a registration form, call 332.2563.
