Calling all artists

The Wayne County Historical Society Museum will be holding a Holiday Boutique Juried Arts and Crafts Show during the Open House November 30 to December 2.

Interested artists and crafters should send in three to six colored photos of their work to the museum by October 1st, when the juried selection process of choosing the artisans will begin.

Chosen artisans will be able to show and sell their arts and crafts in one of the three floors of the museum over the three days for a reasonable booth fee. At this time, the museum is in the planning stages with other Wayne County Museums in renewing the popular Museum Open House Tour during that weekend, which should generate many visitors.

Director of the Museum, Larry Ann Evans, said, 'I can't wait to see this elegant building filled with the very talented artisans of the area!'
