The Praise Band provided the music at the Second Reformed Church on March 30, during the morning worship service.

Anna Copeland and I enjoyed lunch on Tuesday at Lorri's Secret Garden, on Main Street in Palmyra. The food was exceptional.

Congratulations to our outstanding wrestlers who were named in the morning paper Wednesday. The boys are Colton Dalberth, a sophomore, and Josh Mayville, a senior.

The Marion Girl Scouts and their leaders did a wonderful job delivering 120 Easter hyacinths to Senior Citizens, shut-ins and to the hospitals and nursing homes of Marion residents. The plants are purchased with money donated by Marion business, individuals and the Community Christmas Program.

The Committee of Helen Dingman, Ann Dickson, Mary Ann Lane and Lynette Mackey wish to thank everyone who helped!

There will be a meeting of the Sprinkling Association on Monday at 8 p.m. in Firemen's Hall. The question of whether to use oil or water will be decided by vote. Bids will be received for the work.

April 5 - Marion's 3 on 3 basketball fundraiser.

April 8 - Marion 5th and 6th grade Spring Band Concert, 7 p.m., Elementary auditorium.

John and Eileen Ballesty have returned home to Marion after a winter of meandering and visiting with their children and grandchildren.

Roast beef supper at Marion Legion Home, April 11, 5 p.m.

April 8, 1911 - Workmen began Monday morning to take down the tower and the bell of the Presbyterian Church. This edifice was erected in 1831 by the Congregational Society. The denomination was changed to the Presbyterian form of government a few years ago.
