Wine, cheese and a week of fun in Palmyra

The best in fine western New York wines and cheeses, plus locally grown produce is yours to sample, at Wayne County Fair's Wine and Cheese Tasting on Thursday, August 14, starting at 6 p.m.

The 153rd Wayne County Fair is showcasing new events this year. Wegmans will present impressive array of specially selected cheeses.

Five new wineries will sample their products, including Young Sommer Winery, Mayers Lake Ontario, Thorpe Vineyard, Anthony Road Vineyard, and Lakewood Vineyards.

Kate Lee with 'No Strings Attached' returns to provide impressive musical entertainment.

New will be farm markets sampling their homegrown produce including Masons Farm Market, Morgan Farms, and Maiers Mud Acres. Each attendee will receive a complimentary souvenir wine glass.
