Thank you ... to Carol Ramsey for the hours she spent at 'Jennie's House' cleaning and painting a large display case, and to Priscilla Flack for her painting and paper hanging - both in time for the opening on Saturday, August 23. Certain collections will be arranged for your viewing from 2 to 4 p.m., in honor of the 100th Anniversary of the opening of Marion Public Library. The Servicemen's Display has been moved to Jennie's House for viewing next Saturday.

Members of the Historic Association are invited to visit with their ideas and suggestions for 2009.

August 6, 1920: The Rest Room will have its formal opening day afternoon and evening, August 14. Come in and let us show you what comforts we can offer. Some of the officers of the Red Cross Chapter are coming to call, and ladies of our own Branch will be in attendance.
