Fire Equipment Show Wednesday in Newark

The Newark Quality Inn will be the site of the Wayne County Fire Show, August 20, from 3 to 7:30 p.m.

Indoor or outdoor display areas will be available for vendors of fire fighting related goods, services, tools or gear. Apparatus displays will held in the hotel parking lot and across the street at T. Spencer Knight Park. That site will be available for drafting and the demonstration of boats and water rescue equipment. There is no fee for booths or displays.

Burnham's Canalside Restaurant, located at the Quality Inn, will offer a prime rib/chicken buffet at 6 p.m. for $20 a person.
