January events at Performing Arts studio

The Studio for the Performing Arts announces 'Dance for the Sake of Art,' sponsored by the Wayne County Council for the Arts. Items by artists will be displayed in January at the Studio for the Performing Arts.

A reception will be held at 1167 Route 31 East, Newark at the Studio for the Performing Arts on Friday, Jan. 9, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

SPA students will perform for your entertainment. The public is invited to come admire the art forms and to appreciate the dancing that will take place.

Artists displaying their talents with a dance theme may sell their works at the studio.
