All are welcome at Christmas dinner Together in Christ (TIC) in accordance with its 36 year tradition, will once again work together on the Community Shared Christmas Dinner. The community is invited to attend on Thursday, Dec. 25 at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, South Main Street, Newark. The facility is wheelchair and handicapped accessible. 'Don't Spend Christmas Alone.' Whatever your circumstances, everyone is invited to share a delicious meal and fellowship. Florists and members of the community have donated poinsettias and small gifts for everyone attending. Arrangements have been made to deliver meals to shut-ins and transportation is provided by the Arcadia Hose Fire Department for Newark and Arcadia residents who are unable to walk to the dinner. For meal delivery, call Regina Krolak at 331.5933. Volunteers are needed at 1 p.m. on December 23 to help prepare the meal and set up in the church hall. Christmas Day, December 25 help is needed at 10 a.m. to finalize preparations, serve and assist in clean-up and most importantly, provide fellowship for those who want and need someone to talk with on Christmas.
