Employees present at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital and DeMay Living Center service awards event who were honored for 30 or more years of service included: Bonnie Barnes, Bonnie Bertou, Dottie Linzy, Ella Ryan, Karen Swartele, Greta Logue, Gail Walker and Bonnie Bourne.
NEWARK - Eighty-two staff members from Newark-Wayne Community Hospital and DeMay Living Center were honored Nov. 10 for their years of service at the annual service awards dinner. In total, the staff members that were recognized have contributed more than 1,305 years of service to providing health care for people living in Wayne County and the surrounding communities. Receiving Employees of the Year awards were, for Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, Paul Harkness from Red Creek, and for DeMay Living Center, Amy Prindle from Palmyra.
