Tree of Lights raises money for Humane Society

LYONS - The Humane Society of Wayne County is raising funds with its annual Tree of Lights.

To decorate the tree with lights and ornaments, make a donation in honor or memory of a pet. For a tax- deductible donation of $5 or more, a light will be placed on the tree. For a $10 or more donation, a light and a dog, cat or horse ornament will be placed on the tree with the name of an animals. The names will also be placed in the book of memories.

The tree is on display now through the Christmas and Hanukah seasons.

Donation forms can be found at area veterinary offices or at the shelter, located at 1475 County House Road in Lyons. They can also be downloaded online at www.hswaynepets.org.
