Warm Winter Project crafts 126 items

Warm Winter Project organizers announce that, thanks to generous donations of yarn and time by community crafters, 126 items of warm clothing have been delivered to Wayne County agencies for the needy.

To thank Wayne County crafters and encourage more donations, the Warm Winter Project has a display in the Macedon Public Library showcasing 'Chunky, Funky, Quick and Easy Knitted Hats.' Free instructions are available at the library desk through the month of December. These hats are so quick and easy that several could still be made up for holiday gifts.

Free yarn for Warm Winter Project items is available at Creative Environments Day Care (near Macedon Public Library), the Palmyra Village Hall, Main St. in Palmyra, and the Sheep and Wool Shop in Marion.
