Job training program available ALBANY - In an effort to retrain people unemployed by the tough economic climate, Sen. Michael Nozzolio announced that job skills training programs will be available at the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES in Newark. 'In these very difficult economic times, it is critical that New York State invest in job skills training for individuals who want to return to work,' said Nozzolio. 'In addition to helping put New Yorkers back to work, this critical funding will be wisely used to jump-start and strengthen our state economy. ' The job skills training will be available for local residents in need of temporary assistance to assist their efforts in becoming employed The BOCES programs will provide workers with the skills they need to become more successful and self-reliant in the future. In addition to job skills training, the BOCES programs will provide a variety of educational programs and services, including Adult Basic Education and High School Equivalency Diploma preparation.
