Dinner March 1 in Clyde for Ducks Unlimited

The 25th annual Dinner/Auction of the Eastern Wayne Chapter of Ducks Unlimited will begin at 6 p.m. on March 1 at Donselaar's Party House, Rt. 31, Clyde.

The event is one of the area's primary fund raisers for the work of the International Ducks Unlimited organization, which during its more than 70 year history, has generated millions of dollars to benefit wildlife.

Sports people, outdoor lovers, and connoisseurs of fine art will gather for the evening which will begin with hors d'oeuvres and a social hour, followed by a prime rib or chicken dinner.

The event ends with an auction/raffle featuring such things as the framed, ready-to-hang works of famous outdoors artists such as Redlin and Barnhouse, valuable hunting firearms, and out-door related items. A special sponsor package is being offered that includes dinner, a sponsor gift and 1 in 5 chances of winning a gun.
